Our news is gathered by a volunteer network of subject matter experts who routinely collect reporting on topics impacting marginalized communities. We only link news from media outlets dedicated to maintaining high standards of journalistic integrity, without capitulating to imperialist or corporate interests.
Persistent disinformation efforts are increasing across a variety of culture war topics, and legacy media is doing very little to protect targeted populations. At PFP, we are concerned with the ongoing erosion of civil rights, labor rights, freedom of speech, protest, and self-expression, as well as American imperial violence around the world.
We provide a platform for thought leadership across relevant topics and are dedicated to prioritizing the voices of marginalized and impacted community members. We actively foster solidarity across class, ethnic, and religious lines, and believe that we cannot afford to divert attention from the legitimate threats posed by oligarchical and capitalistic interests.
American legacy media has failed abysmally in the face of rising fascist rhetoric and fear mongering, but many journalists remain committed to the fight of truth telling to power.
